Planning, Practicing and Witnessing
The jitters of first-day street evangelism were quickly washed away with the realization of how open this country is to hearing the Gospel. Teams of 2-3, complete with an interpreter, were sent out throughout the day. The mission was to open conversations for witnessing opportunities and to discover places that were uniquely effective for street evangelism. One team, for example, set up outside a childrens clinic were they found stressed parents with long waits for medical care.

Other important Friday activities focused on long meetings with local pastors, Student Ministry Team concert practice and the continued 'marking' of Portuguese Bibles (see Thursday for explanation).
